Family Mission Trip - March 2023

Today was a fun filled-day starting with a scavenger hunt in downtown Progresso. We embarked on our quest to find answers to 11 questions, asking for help from locals. This enabled us to meet local people which we had very interesting conversations with but very few spoke English.

We then headed to Flamboyanes, a very poor town where we helped Sandra, Alvaro and Mercedes with their ministry to kids. They feed them lunch, help with their homework, teach them a little English and teach them about Jesus. We served a Tostada lunch to the kids and then we got to enjoy some tostadas too. We played games some games with the children and taught them the Gospel using 5-beaded Wordless bracelets.

After a delicious spaghetti dinner (thank you Cheryl & Connie). We then went to Jonathan (C-Quest's national director's) church where Gary did some magic and we performed our Noah program and helped the kids make a wordless bracelet and a craft. In attendance were 40+ kids who enjoyed it immensely.

This will not be our (Andrea, Hannah & Faith) final mission trip. The work we have seen here have touched our hearts and helping those in need is our Christian duty.

Thank you Gary and Joanne for blessing the people here in this region of Mexico.
