WestPointe Church - Day 2

Today we headed over to the church where we did a lot of training for our program including the actions for our songs, the drama, puppet show, chalk art, and Drime. We will be performing for all of the children, their parents and others. We enjoyed a super fun swim as a team after a siesta time. After we ate supper, we went to a hospital for locals where people travel for long distances to get free care. Many people have to sleep on the street while their loved ones are cared for in the hospital. We set up our BBQ and served pancake meals to the public. It was really amazing to be able to give to those needing food and possibly have an impact on someone’s life really makes you have a change of heart as it makes you realize what some others have to go through on a daily basis. One of the lady’s sitting by the hospital started crying when we were praying for her. God really moved in my heart in that moment. By the end of the night we had handed out around 300 pancake meals which was so incredible. Then we headed back to the church to talk about the day and pray.
