RockPointe Family Adventure Trip - Day 7

Our team had a busy Saturday with Pastor Miguel.

-Performance at Pastor Miguel's Church (Coca-Cola Stage) and barbeque

-Prayer for Pastor Miguel's New Church Site

-Break from the heat with an ice cream at the Mall

-Performance at Samaritan’s Purse Orphanage and gifts for the children

We had a great turnout at both performances. Pastor Miguel was very pleased with the new faces at the event and their responses to the gospel message. The children always seem to enjoy the program, but it is difficult for us non-native Spanish speakers to judge the impact on the whole audience. Pastor Miguel's excitement about the size of the crowd and their response to the gospel message was awesome to see. Gary was able to reinforce our role in supporting Pastor Miguel's ministry. Our programs help provide an endorsement for our partner’s ministries in their communities, and a boost to their outreach programs.

We visited the bare plot of land that will be the home of Pastor Miguel's new Church to pray for this project. He was very moved by our teams’ prayers and hungry to see this church move forward.

The Samaritan’s purse orphanage visit made a significant impact on the team. These children come from some very tough situations and it was so nice to see their excitement and smiling faces. They were so appreciative of the gifts and children's Bibles that we gave to them. The vision that the leadership has for this ministry is quite exciting. They have plans to break ground on a much larger facility and have very high expectations for the future of these children.
