Dalmeny Community Church - Day 6

Today our team ventured to two different locations to see CampQuest camps in action. The morning event was spent with Zazil and her mission and the afternoon event was spent with Alex and Esther and their church.

The time between the events was spent visiting an old hacienda and going to the zoo to see exotic animals!

At the events we played, danced/sang two songs with children, helped with a drama and a craft. We interacted through laughter and smiles, even though we didn’t speak the same language. We saw joy light the children’s faces while playing and participating in the activities. We were blessed to serve them food before we left and were joyful to know that they had full stomachs. We also enjoyed Mexican foods like tamales and enchiladas.

It was a good day all in all!
