The talented and dedicated people behind C-Quest are the backbone of this organization. Their perseverance and faith make C-Quest projects function smoothly and make a difference in the lives of our brothers and sisters in Mexico. All C-Quest staff are volunteers who serve out of faith and the desire to see lives transformed both in Mexico and in Canada.
Gary & Joanne Edwards – Founders/Executive Directors
Founders Gary and Joanne, long-time teachers, have taught a variety of ages for more than 25 years, both in Canada and overseas. Gary entered full-time ministry with Venture Teams International in 2002 serving as Children’s Ministry Coordinator, Director of Family Adventure (a “kid-friendly” family missions program), and Director of Overseas Development. For 20 years he has performed as an inspirational speaker at children’s and youth camps, churches, and outreach events across Canada and internationally.
Joanne has experience performing and instructing dramatic arts, mentoring young adults, and coordinating and teaching children’s ministry programs. Together they have coordinated or led cross-cultural mission trips to more than 45 countries. They are excited to be serving with C-Quest alongside local ministry partners, sharing the love of Christ with the people of the Yucatán.
