FAMILY EDUCATIONAL MISSION TRIP

Today was a special day. After devotions and another wonderful breakfast, we left to do a mini Reno project in the home of a retired police officer and his family. Being in a wheelchair, he was unable to do work like this. We painted both the exterior and interior of their home, finishing the project in three hours – as if we had worked together for months. The family was very grateful for the transformation. We then had a wonderful time of feasting and fellowship at Pastor Miguel’s home.

After a much-enjoyed siesta, we reloaded the trailer and went to Hope Center in Flamboyanes to entertain over 40 kids with songs, drama, a puppet show, and a chalk art story. The children were familiar with C–Quest, so when we arrived they were anxious to help us unload the trailer. They engaged with all of us in a matter of minutes with warm hugs and laughter. It was a joyous and rewarding experience for every one of us. We also coloured with the younger children, as the older ones heard God’s message of salvation while making a beaded bracelet. As well, we left gifts for the staff to distribute later.
